Your puzzles stay on your device. Here is how local saves and Adjust measurement work.

Game data on your device

Line Escape does not require a player account or ask you to enter your name, email address, phone number, or other profile details. The core puzzles run on your device.

  • Preferences

Language, sound effects, haptic feedback, and direction guidance.

  • Level progress

Unlocked levels and each level’s best results, including stars and completion time.

  • Current game

One unfinished puzzle, including its board state, remaining lives, elapsed time, and hints used, so you can continue later.

  • Recent records

Up to 100 finished games, including the level, finish time, result, duration, mistakes, hints, and stars.

These preferences and gameplay records are stored locally. The measurement endpoint does not upload player profiles, board layouts, level progress, results, stars, hints, or individual game moves.

Adjust and technical data

The app integrates Adjust for attribution and installation, launch, and session measurement. When online, it can also request our measurement endpoint and pass technical parameters used for Adjust statistics. The endpoint may return links to the app’s information pages.

  • Endpoint parameters

The app identifier (appKey), device language (X-Language), iOS vendor identifier (IDFV, also sent as uuid), the Adjust device identifier (ADID) when available, and IDFA only when iOS tracking permission is granted and the identifier is available.

  • SDK technical data

Adjust may process device model/type, operating system and app versions, timestamps, installation and launch information, session counts, and session duration.

  • Connection data

Network services receive information needed to handle requests, such as the IP address and request time.

Purpose and service providers

Technical statistics help measure app distribution, installations, launches, and sessions. They are separate from your local puzzle saves and are not used to create an online gameplay history or cloud save.

Our endpoint processes the parameters described above for measurement, and Adjust processes relevant attribution and technical data as a service provider. The app does not send your local game records to either service. Depending on service operations, technical data may be processed outside your country or region.

For information about Adjust’s processing and privacy practices, read its privacy policy.

Permissions and your controls

On iOS, the app requests App Tracking Transparency permission. IDFA is read only after you grant permission. You can change this choice in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Declining tracking permission does not prevent puzzle play; technical measurement that does not use IDFA may still occur.

Settings → Reset game data removes local level progress, the current game, and recent records, while keeping your preferences. Removing the app normally removes its local data. Device backups and restoration are controlled by your operating system.

Storage, retention, and security

Local data remains on your device until it is replaced, reset, removed, or lost. Only the newest 100 finished game records are kept. This version has no cloud sync or online game-data recovery service.

The measurement endpoint uses HTTPS. Technical statistics are handled according to their measurement purpose, applicable requirements, and the service provider’s retention practices; their retention is separate from the local game history. For a specific retention or deletion request, contact us using the developer contact details on the store listing where you obtained the app.

Your rights and contact

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of personal data, or withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Contact the developer through the app’s store listing for questions or requests about the endpoint; Adjust’s policy explains its own contact and privacy options.

The app has no player accounts and does not receive your local puzzle history. Please do not include game records or unnecessary personal information in a privacy request. If you are a parent or guardian with a concern about a child’s data, use the same contact route.

Updates to this policy

This policy describes version 1.0.0 and the current Adjust integration. If app features, measurement parameters, or service providers change, we will update this page and its date. Review the current policy when installing an app update.
